The National Accounts Manager typically work with national accounts and other strategically important clients. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.   • Rochester Midland Corporation is looking for an experienced Corporate Accounts Manager (CAM)  responsible for the effective management of key corporate accounts and driving account specific sales strategies to increase revenue.  This position is responsible for determining effective ways to partner with our largest accounts by developing an understanding of their business issues and helping them overcome these challenges. The CAM is also responsible for coordinating resources to address business issues and provide value added solutions.  This position is remote with travel to accounts as required.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    • Meet or exceed sales objectives within profit guidelines.
    • Develop account strategies that generate new sales, maintain current business, and provide annual growth.
    • Coordinate the implementation of those sales strategies, coordinating efforts with field sales, marketing, and production.
    • Develop an effective relationship (teamwork) with the field sales force as it relates to increasing sales with all key customers.
    • Communicate progress and success in key accounts to the field sales team and support groups.
    • Effectively monitor and communicate competitive activity to sales and marketing management.
    • Continue to identify new opportunities that will allow RMC to keep ahead of industry changes ensuring future growth and profitability.
    • Effectively utilize and manage individual expense budgets in a responsible manner.
    • Provide key account spending reports, rebate data, and prepare business review reports as required.         
    • Lead key account prospect development by coordinating surveys, managing, and compiling the operational data and pricing strategy for new business opportunities.
    • Coordinate technical support for individual site locations with Regional Managers as needed.
    • Develop and deliver professional and creative presentations internally and externally.
    • Emphasis on Safety awareness & compliance with RMC team, prospects and customers

    EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in post-high school education, training, and experience.

    EXPERIENCE:
    • Equivalent of 5 years sales or sales management experience.
    • Equivalent of 5 years food safety experience
