National Accounts Manager jobs in Trenton, NJ

The National Accounts Manager typically work with national accounts and other strategically important clients. Develops relationships with the largest and most complex clients in order to increase revenue. Being a National Accounts Manager has detailed knowledge of products and services being offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and seeks business expansion opportunities with current clients. In addition, National Accounts Manager visits client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Provides sales quotations and responds to requests for proposals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a National Accounts Manager works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     An excellent sales opportunity exists with an industry leader in healthcare communications and continuing medical education. This role will focus on driving attendee registration revenue for in-person and virtual events, membership programs, grand rounds, and Chapter Dinner meetings. This role will also focus on driving revenue for private training courses to both industry and clinical settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and directly, and have a passion for selling. No prior healthcare knowledge is necessary to succeed in this role; tenacity and a willingness to work toward reaching defined goals are most important for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ability to effectively communicate the value of HMP Global’s products and services (content & events) to potential clients.
    • Conduct outreach using various methods including phone, email, social media, direct mail.
    • Use multiple resources to research and prospect.
    • Provide exception customer service to clients.
    • Provide feedback to improve and implement creative marketing and sales strategies.
    • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts.
    • Diligently follow up with leads.
    • Serve as on-site contact at national meetings

    The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, New York City, California, and Washington, the expected base compensation for this role is between $50,000.00 and $55,000.00. This role is also eligible for commission. Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term, and long-term disability, and life insurance.
