Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager at Poly Print, Inc. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activity, providing feedback to the management team, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role
Ability to manage a remote sales team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Experience in the flexible packaging industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
Must be an established and experienced individual in the flexible packaging marketplace.
Direct face-to-face hands-on experience in the selling of flexible packaging specifically related to printing and film LAMINATIONS.
Must be knowledgeable with different film types and film structures based on the application(s). This can include but is not limited to barrier films, OPPs, PEs, PETs, CPPs, etc.
Knowledge of film seal types such as fin seal, lap seal, pouch, etc.
Basic understanding of artwork/graphics including but not limited to, die-lines, layouts, PDFs, plate-ready files, surface or reverse printed, etc.
Understand Poly Print's market and core strengths. Mainly we service the food packaging industry. This includes but is not limited to, confectionary, chips, comfort foods, snack foods, frozen foods, bakery, vitamin packs, nuts, crackers, and coffee. We sell mostly in roll stock form. Must be capable of providing some assistance to customers regarding packaging problems and solutions as well as technical issues and can identify the difference between vertical and horizontal packaging machines etc. Should have a

Competitive base salary, (DOE) with the opportunity to earn additional commission based on individual sales performance.
