    As a Human Resources Administrator on our Corporate Team, you will work from our Headquarters in Lincoln, NE and interact virtually with managers and employees at each Club location on a regular basis to establish and maintain relationships to best support their hiring, personnel and compliance needs.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    Benefits Administration
    • Administer the company benefit plans by initiating employee enrollment and maintaining changes within HRIS and vendor sites.
    • Act as a liaison between employees and brokers/vendors when questions arise.
    • Reconcile employee paid benefits monthly, comparing payroll deductions with coverage dates.
    Payroll Administration

    • Work closely with Club Administrators to prepare for bi-weekly payroll cycles - reviewing timesheets, time off requests, scheduled deductions, new hire files and terminations.
    • Receive, process and track wage garnishments.
    • Answer employee inquiries regarding their pay details.
    • Timely process requests for payout on missed wages.
    Personnel Management

    • Oversee the maintenance of personnel files and ensure that information is retained according to the record retention policy.
    • Respond to requests for unemployment information. Prepare details for appeal and participate in hearings when needed.
    • Complete verbal and written verifications of employment.
    • Own incident reporting and safety programs, notifying proper channels and maintaining record of trainings.
    • Work closely with Club Administrators to complete full recruitment process from application received to completed onboarding.
    • Process separations timely ensuring all documentation is received.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field from an accredited four-year university preferred, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience with HR and/or office administration
    LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION

    • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred, but not required
    • Dayforce HRIS knowledge a plus
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Considerable knowledge of modern human resources practices and procedures
    • Knowledge of office equipment, administrative and clerical procedures, and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to: Word and Excel
    • Considerable knowledge of current employment laws
    • Basic knowledge of the laws, policies and procedures governing health and life insurance administration
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and instruction at times
    • Ability to create, maintain and analyze complex computer spreadsheets utilizing mathematical formulas
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to establish/maintain professional working relationships with other corporate and club management team members
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
    • Exercise sound decision making skills and resourcefulness in the performance of job duties
    • Handle confidential information with tact and discretion
    • Follow complex oral and written instructions
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Prolonged periods of sedentary/stationary work.
    • Occasionally move about the office to access printers, file cabinets, and meet with others.
    • Must be able to communicate verbally with members and employees via phone.
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator or printer.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
