You will oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Ensuring network availability, security, and optimal performance is your priority.The Network Administrator will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets. This is a great opportunity that will allow you to work on innovative projects that offer advancement and growth while helping protect our national security.Job Responsibilities:Provide Tier II-III network/desktop support.Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including monitoring the network and servers for problems, diagnosing problems, and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure an expedient resolution.Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes.Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all IT infrastructures.Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources.Diagnose and resolve network-related problems promptly.Collaborating with other IT professionals to troubleshoot complex issues is essential.Implement security protocols and access controls.Monitor network traffic to safeguard against cyber threats.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.QualificationsMust be a US Citizen.Must possess an active T3 security clearanceCompTIA Security CE equivalent or higher.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts or three (3 ) years of relevant experience in place of degree requirement. Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos) or equivalent.Preferred:Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop (Citrix).Microsoft or related certification.Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Brocade Certified Professional.Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.Additional InformationThis opportunity is contingent upon successful award and contract negotiation which is currently in process.Link Solutions Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to include paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, company-paid long and short-term disability, life insurance, referral bonuses, relocation incentive program, certification reimbursement program, retirement, and more.Link Solutions, Inc. is an EOE.
