Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage network hardware such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Utilize knowledge of virtualization technologies, storage area networks, LAN/WAN devices, Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, and various standard infrastructure applications.
Work with telephony technologies and assemble hardware as needed.
Manage IP addressing, routing, switching, internet circuits, WAN topologies, and VPN.
Maintain website hosting, IIS, Veeam backup and replication, DR systems and strategies, DRaaS.
Utilize knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and storage management.
Manage physical systems and hardware, VMWare infrastructure, terminal services, remote computing.
Implement ITIL foundation and best practices; monitor and alert system performance.
Perform minor database administration for MSSQL server; have knowledge of SQL server.
Understand core networking disciplines, routing, switching, and subnetting.
Maintain experience with firewalls and security appliances.
Minimum of five years' experience as a IT Administrator with a strong Networking background
Proven experience with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Experience with Microsoft software and tools
Knowledge of Active Directory
Experience with Backup Technologies
Proficiency in Computer Hardware
Demonstrated ability in Configuration Management
Experience in Design relating to network infrastructure
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE would be advantageous.
