The Tutoring Center, Greer, SC is offering an exciting opportunity for a valued leadership position. We are seeking a Center Director who is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The Center Director is a valued leadership role in our organization. Our Center Director must have a cheerful, outgoing personality, and a passion for tutoring children Kindergarten to High School in Reading, Writing, and Math, including Geometry and Algebra II. Most importantly, our Center Director must have a commitment to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service, and teamwork.

Requirements include:

• At Least a One year commitment
• Available to work Monday – Friday from 2:30 to 7:30pm
• Education background preferred
• Comfortable creating/editing documents
• Organized and punctual

Responsibilities and Duties

Supervise classroom operations and ensure that all instructors adhere to The Tutoring Center’s proven system.

• Analyze student progress and recommend appropriate instructional strategies and techniques.
• Prepare student progress reports and communicate results to parents.
• Discuss progress with teachers.
• Administer Diagnostic Assessments, as needed.
• Assist in the hiring and development of new instructors.
• Maintain attendance records.
• Implement the school marketing plan.
• Create staff schedules
• Manage day to day operations

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and possess experience in the classroom. Must have proficient computer skills and further, he or she will have the following characteristics: (1) demonstrate genuine care for children and a love of learning; (2) take initiative; (3) perform duties cheerfully; (4) think creatively; (5) exhibit an outgoing personality and high enthusiasm; (6) comfortable talking with parents and teachers; (7) remain focused on constant improvement; (8) stay organized; (9) meet deadlines; and (10) Math expertise through calculus a plus.
