    As the Principal Deputy Director, Global Health Center, the incumbent will: Provide leadership and direction in the development, maintenance, and utilization of CDC's capabilities in science and public health activities to advance global health priorities. Serve as a principal advisor to the Global Health Center Director on global health issues, provides strategic leadership to Global Health Center's three Divisions, overseas programs and, works with internal and external partners to advance global health programs and priorities. Share fully in policy formulation and interpretation; establishment of goals, utilization of personnel and other resources. Build coalitions and represent the Global Health Center internally and with other Federal agencies, nonprofit and private sector organizations, foreign governments, or international organizations to achieve common goals. Manage human, financial, and information resources strategically. Lead a diverse workforce toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Review developmental needs of subordinate supervisors and non-supervisory employees and make decisions on non-routine, costly, and controversial training needs and requests for unit employees.
