The Operations Control Center (OCC) Co-Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our company's Operations Control Center. In this role, you will work closely with the OCC Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of our operations, including monitoring and coordinating activities, and resolving any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the OCC Manager in developing and implementing standard operating procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervising a team of operators to ensure proper staffing, training, and adherence to protocols.
• Monitoring and coordinating activities across various departments, including scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Overseeing the handling of emergencies and incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution.
• Collaborating with other managers and departments to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
• Preparing reports and analytics on operational performance and making recommendations for improvement.
• Staying updated on industry trends and technologies to facilitate continuous improvement of operations.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. A solid understanding of operations control center processes and procedures is also essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
 

Experience in Operations/Management

Experience in Part 135

Residing in the Miami area or open to relocation

Assisting the current Manager as the second in command and handling responsibilities including Client Services, Dispatch, Crew Scheduling, and other assigned duties
 

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a control center or similar environment.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, effective decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Knowledge of operations control center processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for operations management and reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under tight deadlines.
