We are looking for the right person to lead our warehouse in our brand new, 50,000 square foot Distribution Center in Saginaw, MI.

As the Warehouse Manager you are a working manager whose responsibilities include:

• 
  Managing a warehouse staff of up to 8 employees
• Continuous improvement of all aspects of the operation
• Prioritize safety and maintain injury/accident-free workplace
• Oversight and responsibility for all training for your staff
• Scheduling staff according to workload and variations in workflow
• Coordinating truck loads between our manufacturing facilities
• General Office and Warehouse tasks, which could include filling in for absent employees
• Ensuring performance goals are achieved
• Educating employees about work instructions, policies, procedures and process improvements
• Occasional travel to other distribution centers

Saginaw Control & Engineering is a privately owned company that has experienced steady growth for over 50 years. This new facility will combine with our distribution centers in Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Wisconsin to complete a distribution network that ships anywhere in the U.S. in under 2 days. Along with our distribution facilities we have two manufacturing facilities in Saginaw, MI totaling more than 500,000 square feet of production space where we produce all of our electrical enclosures and maintain our corporate office.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong computer skills
• Experience with process improvements
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively promote and lead change
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule when needed, including evenings and weekends
• Background in shipping or warehousing preferred
• Management experience preferred
