Network Control Center Supervisor supervises network control technicians in the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Oversees routine testing, configuration changes, or network hardware or software upgrades. Being a Network Control Center Supervisor ensures network traffic and performance monitoring processes are running to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Responds to incidents using standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Supervisor coordinates with vendors and service providers to ensure required service and quality levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Center Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Control Center Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     HOURS: 7 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon - Fri)
    PAY: $60,000 - $65,000/yr

    SUMMARY:
    Responsible for day-to-day leadership and coaching to create a motivated work environment where employees can excel. Consistently meets or exceeds productivity expectations while ensuring the team are retaining customers by getting the job done right the first time. The DC Supervisor oversees functional areas including shipping, receiving, cable cutting, transportation, and inventory control.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • In partnership with the Manager, builds employee engagement and a high performing team by recruiting, training, and retaining the best talent within span of control.
    • Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation functions for assigned department.
    • Proactively identifies areas for improvement, builds action plans and seeks opportunities to grow their business and increase customer satisfaction.
    • Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse team objectives.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    •  High school or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Two years or more related high volume fast paced distribution operations experience
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Ability to demonstrate “hands on” warehouse tasks as well as being active in the daily warehouse operations
    • Working knowledge of automated warehouse management system
    • A proven ability to lead others and motivate them to succeed in meeting customer’s needs
    • Build good partnerships with all areas of the organization by exhibiting excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Detailed oriented and a good problem solver
    • Ability to prioritize, organize effectively and work independently
    • Proven ability to handle change management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY:
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
