Job Overview:
Remedy Pest Control (RPC) is seeking a few new Team members! RPC's Technicians are hard-working, dependable, curious, and friendly. As the primary face of the organization, RPC counts on their technicians to deliver exceptional service, maintain a positive attitude while meeting daily service delivery objectives safely and efficiently. As an RPC Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest problems, and implementing effective pest control treatments/solutions. The role requires a willingness to be hands-on, interest of pest(s)/ pest control techniques, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties in order to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each property
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
- Monitor treated areas to ensure effectiveness of treatments and make any necessary adjustments
- Provide recommendations to customers on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of common pests, their habits, and effective treatment methods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in pest control operations
- Strong problem-solving skills - An eye for detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Successful completion of a background check and drug screening - Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
