May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement effective pest control treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines
- Seal off entry points to prevent pests from entering properties
- Educate customers on proper sanitation practices to prevent future infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service and address any questions or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of common pests, their behavior, and effective treatment methods
- Strong sales skills to upsell additional services or products to customers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and crawling in tight spaces
- Familiarity with farm or landscape work, including the use of farm machinery, hand tools, power tools, or lawn care equipment is a plus
