Network Control Technician monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Being a Network Control Technician documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Technician work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We're growing! We have an immediate opening for full time (40 hours) technicians. M-F with Saturdays a must when needed. Applicant must have a valid driver's license, pass a drug test, pass a physical, have clean background, and be flexible on hours. Job requires treating for bed bugs, termites (which involves drilling and crawling under houses), insulation removal and installation, bird and bat jobs (which requires ladders and heights), and some other labor jobs. Applicant must be able to work outside, crawl under houses, and climb on ladders. No exp required; on the job training provided.
