Network Control Technician monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Being a Network Control Technician documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Technician work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We are searching for an Experienced Telecom Network Technician to join our team in Arco, ID to continue expanding our network and taking care of our customers. Job duties include installing, repairing, and maintaining voice and broadband networks and equipment. Experience with copper, fiber, and/or wireless technologies is required.
As a Telecom Network Technician, you will be responsible for wiring and connecting new equipment, while also utilizing testing equipment to determine maintenance and repair needs. You will install, configure, and perform routine maintenance on central office switches and related equipment.
