- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines
- Install and maintain pest control devices such as traps and baits
- Seal off entry points to prevent pests from entering properties
- Provide recommendations to clients on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
Experience:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of common pests, their habits, and effective treatment methods
- Familiarity with sales techniques to promote additional services or products
- Ability to operate power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
