Network Control Technician monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Being a Network Control Technician documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Technician work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Essential has been providing quality pest control service in Tucson and surrounding areas since 1981. This is an outdoor/indoor position that requires technicians to inspect and treat for unwanted pest at customer's homes.

    We are currently seeking a talented and likable individual that can effectively communicate with customers, manage daily appointments, service accounts, up sell services and sell new pest control services to potential clients.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide excellent customer service to our customer by communicating pest conditions, treatment options and product expectations
    • Adhere to company policies and requirements regarding treatment procedures and site safety in the performance of all job duties, including but not limited to: lifting up to 50lbs, climbing ladders, fall prevention, personal protective equipment, use of power tools and guidelines of Arizona Department of Agriculture Pest Management Division and OSHA compliance
    • Complete daily appointments, maintain accurate and legible work orders
    • Maintain personal equipment and adhere to vehicle policy and Arizona Department of Agriculture Pest Management Division guidelines
    • Inspect and practice integrated pest management in schools, restaurants and medical facilities
    • Apply pesticides to keep properties free of unwanted pest
    • Able to use a handheld device to record all work orders
    • Communicate with direct supervisor
    • Other task assigned by management

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Must be able to read a chemical label and safety data sheet and follow instructions to properly mix and apply products
    • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport with peers and customers
    • Excellent time management skills required
    • Familiar with Tucson and surrounding areas
    • Ability to work alone and with others
    • Able to lift 50lbs and crawl under homes and in attics for inspections
    • Able to bend, twist, squat and complete physical work for long period of time
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Proficient with hand tools, job related specialty tools and power tools
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record throughout employment
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background screening and drug test
    • Flexible schedule and be able to work weekends
    • Must be able to treat bees
    • Must be able to operate manual transmission automobile

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
