Network Engineer develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Being a Network Engineer defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineer work is closely managed.     SUMMARY

    Our vision for this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, controls, devices, and systems to improve overall productivity, safety in line with continuous improvement systems.

    • Responsible for engineering, programming, installation and recording data in regards to electrical/electromechanical information on the production floor and facility.

    • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

    • Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

    • Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.

    • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.

    • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

    • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

    Education and/or Experience                                             

    Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four year college or university; or five years related experience in field with proven success in Electrical Engineering design, programming, troubleshooting and practical implementation.

    • Robotics
    • Experience writing PLC Programs from concept
    • Control Logix, SLC 500 series and Micro Logix, and Safety PLC: Pilz and Guard Logics
    • Perform Root Cause Analyses
    • Poka Yoke Design

    Preferred Experience:

    • Stamping Press Controls including Transfer Systems
    • Wintress Press Controls
    • ABB, Nachi Robots
    • Robot Resistance and Mig weld processes
    • Medar weld controllers
    • AC, DC Servo Drives experience

    Skills and Abilities

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, plant personnel, regulatory agencies, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

               

    Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

               

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
