    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with comprehensive experience in managing and optimizing network infrastructures, specializing in Cisco technologies including Cisco SD- WAN, Cisco WiFi, and Cisco voice solutions, as well as proficiency in Rukus WiFi Deployments, Microsoft Teams voice integration, and Palo Alto firewall management.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Essential Network Functions:

    • Design, deploy, and manage Cisco networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
    • Implement and optimize Cisco SD-WAN solutions to enhance network agility, efficiency, and reliability across distributed environments.
    • Configure and maintain Cisco WiFi networks, including access points, controllers, and authentication systems, to deliver seamless wireless connectivity and coverage. 
    • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Rukus WiFi solutions to meet specific organizational requirements for high-density environments and advanced wireless capabilities. 
    • Integrate Cisco voice technologies and Microsoft Teams voice solutions to provide unified communications and collaboration capabilities, ensuring seamless voice communication across the organization.
    • Design, implement, and manage Palo Alto firewall solutions to enforce security policies, mitigate threats, and protect the network infrastructure from unauthorized access and malicious activities.
    • Configure and maintain Zscaler cloud security platform for network protection. 
    • Monitor network performance, traffic, and security incidents using appropriate tools and technologies, and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions aligned with business objectives and requirements, ensuring seamless intergration with existing systems and applications. 
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in networking, security, and collaboration, and evaluate their applicability to the organization's infrastructure and operations.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles.
    • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNO, CCIE, PCNSE) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles, with focus on Cisco infrastructure, SD-WAN, WiFi, voice, and firewall technologies. 
    • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as Cisco SD-WAN and WiFi Solutions. 
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing Rukus and Extreme WiFi deployment in complex environments, with a strong understanding of wireless networking principles and protocols. 
    • Experience integrating Cisco voice solutions (VOIP, unified communications) and Microsoft Teams voice capabilities into existing network infrastructures. 
    • In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto firewall technologies and experience in designing, implementing, and managing firewall policies and configurations. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization. 
    • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
    • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. 
    • Some travel to remote sites may be required.
    • Occasional weekend and off-hours work may be required.
    • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking and the ability to lift files, boxes and other materials up to 20 lbs., unassisted.
