Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Being a Network Engineer defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. How You Will Make an Impact:
The Senior Network Engineer is an integral part of the Technology Team who will oversee the technical success of our production communications environment in the Permian Basin.
Must have a minimum of two years real world experience with designing and administering various network topologies. Must be a fast learner who has extremely solid Cisco Meraki expertise. Must be comfortable working in both a manufacturing environment outdoors, and office environments.
You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the communications networks across the enterprise. You will lead and direct Operations Infrastructure projects. Additionally, provide backup support to other OT Infrastructure roles.
