Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     DGR Engineering's Civil Engineering and Surveying departments specialize in the design of roadways, subdivisions, airports, municipal utility distribution and collection lines, athletic & recreational facilities, and other related municipal, private and industrial civil engineering and surveying services.

    We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project Engineer.

    Qualifications


    • Experience as a Project Engineer in the design of transportation and site development projects
    • Ability to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships
    • Attention to detail and ability to communicate and coordinate with peers, clients and regulators
    • Computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • Familiarity with local codes and regulations
    • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and aptitude
    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

    Specific responsibilities and duties this position may include:

     

    • Engaging in or overseeing the preparation of project cost estimates
    • Assisting in project scoping, contract development and project management
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team atmosphere to accomplish project goals
