Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Under the immediate supervision of the KCF Director of Clinical Services, provides clinical and programmatic oversight of all School Based Mental Health Services (SBMH). This includes the development, implementation, and management of program and staff including direct supervision of SBMH Program Supervisory staff, both vocational and clinical supervision of counselors and case managers, and completion of diagnostic intake assessments. This position will also include the responsibility of managing the budget for SBMH, seeking additional funding for sustainability and expansion as well as to serve as a liaison with community partners and school districts.
