Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Requirements

    You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You: 

    • Hold the necessary credentials for an assistant director in Arkansas, which include a high school diploma or GED, the Commonwealth Childcare Credential, and experience in a licensed childcare center – a college degree in early childhood education or child development is a big bonus! 
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills. 
    • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.  
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. 
    • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
