Network Engineering Director jobs in York, PA

Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary

     

    We have partnered with the largest and fastest-growing manufacturing of paper in North America and its need for a Maintenance Supervisor. The focus of this position will be maintaining and supervising an efficient maintenance staff for the electrical power of the mill facilities. 
     

    What You'll Do:

     

    • Supervises all operations of the CFB Boiler, Turbine Generators and Cooling Towers.
    • Assists in planning Maintenance scheduling of all equipment to provide uninterrupted steam and electrical power supply.
    • Supervises the training of all hourly personnel, enforces safety, housekeeping, and other precautions for the protection of personnel and equipment, and stays current on the labor agreement and departmental guidelines.
    • Administers company policies and methods; establishes operating procedures and studies; and makes recommendations for improvements in procedures and practices.
     

    Your Background Should Include:

     

    • BS degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
    • Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Prior maintenance or engineering experience related to utilities such as boilers, turbines, chillers, etc.
    • At least one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
