Network Engineering Manager manages and implements the plans, designs, and development of all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Manager conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Manager keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Engineering Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As an Engineering Manager specializing in Chemical Process, you will lead a team of talented engineers and oversee the design, development, and implementation of innovative processes that drive our organization forward.     Key responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance chemical processes, optimize production, and improve overall efficiency.
    • Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of new process units, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Operations, and other departments to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
    • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and technologies to drive operational excellence.
    • Act as a technical expert and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges, leveraging your extensive experience in chemical processes.

    Qualifications and skills

    • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field is required.
    • 15 years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in team management roles.
    • Extensive knowledge of chemical processes, unit operations, and process safety principles.
    • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of engineering operations.
    • Problem solving, cost estimating, decision making, prioritization, team building, office PC software, hazard evaluation, development of P&ID’s and PFD’s.

    Compensation Data

    The typical hiring range for this role is $140,000 to $190,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
