Metric is looking for an Assistant Proposal Manager to join our stellar marketing team in Florida. This individual will produce RFP responses from inception to completion with little to no oversight and should possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of the marketing process. This includes the creation, implementation, and final development of documents that are part of the overall marketing efforts for the respective production team. This individual will help develop internal resources and collateral for deliverables and will be responsible for tracking upcoming projects and aligning the overall capture strategy. *This is a hybrid position with the potential of working within any of Metric’s Florida office locations (Lake Mary, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Jacksonville, Chipley, or Panama City Beach)

Day-to-Day:

• Evaluating advertisements from the Marketing Operations Team respective of their service lines and ensures they are provided to the PM’s for consideration
• Leads the design and production of Proposals / Letter of Response / Expanded Letter of Interest Compilation Process, in collaboration with PMs and marketing staff
• Provides technical writing for special write ups and/or project approaches
• Maintains relationships with clients and subconsultants as well as other offices
• Leader for Service Line Meetings for their respective group and/or oversees the Marketing Coordinator leading the meetings
• Scheduling & tracking marketing meetings in advance of project advertisements with clients and coordinating with numerous team members’ schedules
• Tracking/monitoring marketing programs for numerous governmental and private clients
• Ensures that staff are providing updates to the Marketing Operations Team for any newly generated information into master project lists and master resumes
• Create and manage resumes and any other marketing material templates
• Works closely with the Marketing Manager/Director on the status of their team, resources needed, and workload concerns
• Serves as a back up to the Marketing Manager when they are on PTO or other special assignments
• Provides High-level Quality Control reviews of deliverables
• Provides coordination, set-up, and high-level editing of presentations, organization of rehearsals and provides coaching
• Provides oversight and maintenance of Marketing assets which include proper file management of proposal and password logs, and ensuring that submittal files are cleaned up , etc.
• Collaborate with PM, marketing staff, and graphics department to create graphics for projects ensuring brand adherence and consistency
• Assist with conference coordination and planning including registration, booth setup and staffing, and tailoring marketing materials and handouts
• Assists with corporate level tasks, such as reviewing the company website for outdated material, assisting with corporate communications/social media/quarterly newsletter, etc.

What you should bring:

• B.S. in marketing, communications, business, or related degree field preferred
• 5 years of similar experience with A/E firm or related industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint & Adobe Creative Suites (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)
• Ability to manage and prioritize projects and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams - Must be a team player!
• Understanding of and ability to comply with FDOT and government agency RFP’s, RFQ’s, Qualification packages, etc.
• Experience with Deltek or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
