Network Engineering Manager manages and implements the plans, designs, and development of all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Manager conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Manager keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator/Helpdesk Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and providing support for our end-users. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to network connectivity, security, and performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with level 2 helpdesk tickets, providing technical support to end-users, and escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed. This role will require some travel to existing offices and new locations.
Must be able to work in a sedentary position for up to eight to ten hours per day. Must be able to lift, package, and ship IT equipment up to 50 pounds.
This position will be a full-time position. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one unpaid hour for lunch each day. The IT team must be available for on call emergencies after hours. Flexible schedules may be available with prior approval from an immediate supervisor.
