Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Director of Network Operations reports to the Vice President of St. David’s Care Partners. The Director of Network Operations directs overall administrative operations for Capital Area Providers and St. David’s Care Partners provider networks to include practice relations and payer relations. Responsible for oversight of the payer, credentialing requirements, operations meetings and relations to ensure success with provider networks. Assist with payer and provider contracting processes and serve as the point person to communicate any changes and make the process as seamless as possible. Serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President, Clinical Operations Directors, CMO and physicians.

    • You will collaborate with SDCP Vice President, Medical Director and Board to manage physician network operations and key initiatives. Collaborate with Board and Credentialing Committee chair to set operations agendas and execute on determined action items.
    • You will develop and manage credentialing process for contracts with delegated credentialing
    • You will serve and manage as the principal liaison to payers and provider practices regarding non-clinical aspects of the organization’s contracts.
    • You will maintain network rosters.
    • You will identify practice needs and communicate with SDCP team to develop strategy to fulfill needs.
    • You will assist in facilitating Board, Committee and sub-group meetings, internal senior leadership meetings, and other related operations activities.
    • You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop project plans; drive results and revise plans as appropriate while maintaining linkage between projects, business needs and priorities.
    • You will assist with Distribution Methodology development and budget development under the director of the Vice President.
    • You will develop and distribute contract summary guide for preparation for physician members You will coordinate all technology solutions and related databases

    What qualifications you will need:
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Master’s degree preferred
    • Experience with Medicare program management, health plan leadership or development, or provider contract management will be highly valued
    • Intellectual curiosity and persistence, and creativity in problem solving
    • Desire to work in and lead a highly matrixed and collaborative environment, requiring transparency and teamwork to accomplish nearly all tasks
    • Ability to understand physician practice or insurance carrier business issues
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with a cross-functional team
