Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Hubbard LLC is seeking applicants with well-versed knowledge of poultry operation and should be a self-starter to begin work immediately as the Director of Operations position for our company. This role will oversee management of all areas to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are scheduled within quality standards and cost objectives.Job Description and Responsibilities:
    • Assists company officers and senior staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives
    • Develops the plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standard
    • Achieves optimum employee levels with least amount of overhead and costs to meet annual budgetary plan
    • Formulates and recommends policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation
    • Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the departmental plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures
    • Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results
    • Hires, trains, develop and evaluate staff
    • Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
    • Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources and Compliance Departments as appropriate
    • Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data
    • Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards
    • Directs and coordinates various programs essential to operational procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.)
    • Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g., hatchery layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)
    • Develop and submit annual operating expense and capital budgets for approval
    • Responsible managing all departments to budget and providing justification for proposed deviations
    • Responsible for achieving and reporting on all key performance indicators for the Walpole Complex
    • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by executive management.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in performance management and hiring of management-level employees is required.
    • Experience working with Human Resources, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs in an agricultural setting is strongly preferred.
    • This position requires up to 25% travel. Some of the travel is international.
    • BA/BS in agriculture business, animal science, or business administration, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in related discipline is required.
    • 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in poultry based industry

    • Must be a detail-oriented, self-motivator with ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
    • Must successfully pass a background check and drug-screen prior to employment.
    • Must be legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle in New Hampshire.
    • Many tasks performed in this role may require repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, standing, walking, and contact with live animals, hot/cold environments, and chemicals.

    Other Conditions:
    • Candidate must adhere to strict confidentiality rules in regards to data handling.
    • For bio-security purposes, candidate cannot own or house any wild or domesticated avian species.
    • Candidate must adhere to a strict 72-hour quarantine period after contact with non-Hubbard avian species.
    • Candidate agrees to comply with all other company biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and personal conduct policies.
    • Many tasks performed in this role may require repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, standing, walking, and contact with live animals, hot/cold environments, and chemicals.
