Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. What You’ll Do
You actively participate in pre and post-event tasks to ensure our event season runs smoothly, collaborating closely with our Event Operations team. Your role will encompass crafting and overseeing registration and event information pages. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating the logistical aspects of shipping tournament equipment and supplies. You will also be a valuable asset to our staffing team, offering support in the hiring and onboarding of event staff.
You are a curious person and a team player. You can function across a variety of software tools, such as GSuite, Asana, Slack, and more.
The internship is a 40-hour per week schedule, from May through July 2024, located at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN. Eager to join the team early? Start your internship in the Spring of 2024 on a part-time (10-15 hours/week) basis through the end of the semester.
