Job Description

Wish is looking for a hands-on Sr. Network Operations Engineer to help sustain, evolve, tune, and operate our network of data centers and AWS cloud environment.  We leverage a hybrid model of both on-premise physical data centers and AWS to support our infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot a complex hybrid environment working with stakeholders to ensure quick resolution to site-impacting issues.
• Work with vendors to provision new services, deprecate legacy and optimize existing ones.
• Coordinate with service owners for regularly scheduled maintenance to mitigate site impact.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science
• 7 years of professional experience with backbone, data center, AWS, fiber plant, carrier circuits, DWDM, OSPF, MPLS, and BGP.
• Experience with NetBox, Graphana, Ansible, AWS.
• Strong with at least one scripting language. Python or Go.
• Strong experience with AWS networking including, TGW, DX Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, IPSec, AWS SGs.
• Knowledge of DWDM, CWDM, VXLAN, EVPN.
• Strong knowledge of Juniper, Cisco and Arista routing/switching platforms.
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex environments that span physical and hybrid environments.
• Strong experience with carrier circuits including transit, transport and dark fiber.
• Experience with GitHub PRs and Infrastructure as Code with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to be on-call 24/7 including holidays.

The estimated base salary range for this position varies by the candidate's location as follows:
Candidates located in California: $146,000 - $189,500 annually
Candidates located in New York and Washington: $146,000 - $168,000 annually
Candidates located in Colorado: $127,000 - $146,000 annually
For states not listed, the estimated base salary range for this position starts around $127,000 annually

Please note that individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, qualifications and other business considerations.
