Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We currently have a position for Director of Admissions. The successful qualified candidates will be part of an incredible team that helps to ensure that each of our residents is given the best quality of care and wonderful stay that they expect and deserve.

    Summary/Objective In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the Residents we serve, the Director of Admissions is responsible for the entire admission process of Residents as well as the marketing program for the facility. The Director of Admissions develops and maintains professional relationships with the surrounding medical community to ensure steady referral sources for the facility. This position also reviews medical, financial and other records with appropriate department heads of potential Residents to ensure they are appropriate for the facility.

    Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    1. Coordinates tours of the facility with perspective Residents, families and referrers either personally or with appropriate interdisciplinary team members.

    2. Assists Residents and family members with completing the admission process by assuring all admission paperwork is completed and necessary financial and medical records are obtained.

    3. Ensures appropriate preparation of room prior to the arrival of new Residents.

    4. Meets with Residents and family on the day of admission to answer any questions and ensure a smooth admission process.

    5. Works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent, effective admissions, discharges and Resident room transfers.

    6. Develops and maintains referral base.

    7. Provides daily census report to interdisciplinary team.

    8. Assists with the development and implementation of long-range and short term marketing plans.

    9. Coordinates and participates in presentations about the facility to healthcare professionals and other potential referral sources.

    10. Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to appropriate persons.

    11. Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained at all times. Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks and using equipment and supplies.

    12. Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of Residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.

    13. Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with Residents/guests, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

    14. Answers and respond to call lights promptly and courteously when working in Resident care areas.

    15. Reports all Resident concerns to the appropriate department head.

    16. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.

    Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    This role may also come into contact with Guests who may have contagious illnesses.

    Physical Demands while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. FT position with some weekend coverage.

    Required Education and Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    One year experience in a marketing role or similar experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.

    Two years of related experience.
