Job Summary:
Directs and oversees manufacturing operations duties and activities for one of more plants or manufacturing facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develops and implements strategies meant to improve the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.
* Identifies manufacturing processes or procedures that could benefit from process improvement or efficiency
optimization, and approves the implementation of changes.
* Develops a manufacturing plan for the Division that increases profit for the business.
* Establishes appropriate Divisional KPI's and tracks plant performance against assigned metrics.
* Responsible for Divisional annual budget preparation and adherence at each site location.
* In partnership with Divisional HR, QA, and EHS develop, review and support implementation of strategic policies and procedures.
* Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the business segments within the Division.
* Review and analyze manufacturing capabilities to support future sales and R&D expectations.
* Support capital installations and integrate new customers and product lines into existing production
* and distribution.
* Provide Divisional leadership necessary for achieving plant and corporate goals in the area of Safety, Quality, Labor Relations, Customer Service, and Cost (CPU and Variances).
* Provide leadership for effective employee relations through positive proactive communication, coaching, training, problem resolution, and follow up.
Education and Experience:
* Typically requires a bachelor's degree and/or at least 10 years of experience in Plant Leadership role.
