Network Operations Manager manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Manager provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Manager leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Heart Gallery Program Manager

  • Position Summary 

    The Heart Gallery Program Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and management of the Heart Gallery program, including the coordination of duties that focus on recruitment efforts to find adoptive families for children and raise awareness about the need for foster and adoptive families. The Heart Gallery is a community engagement initiative featuring children in the foster care system who are waiting for a forever family. The program uses professional portraits, weekly television segments and a robust website to create awareness and educate the community about children in the Texas foster care system who need permanent, adoptive homes before aging out. This individual will need to be a highly effective communicator and skilled listener, who sets clear and realistic goals. Be committed to creating an equitable workplace that welcomes and embraces a diversity of identities, skills, and experiences and sharing this commitment in all program related activities. This position will work closely with the TFCN Directors of Case Management and the Director of Family Engagement & Permanency, who oversee TFCN Adoptions.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities 

    • Develops and maintains key relationships throughout the business and child welfare community to effectively expand program awareness and increase partnership and exposure opportunities. 
    • Operates strategically to ensure intentional program growth and apply visionary thinking to help achieve goals internally and with external partners around the region. 
    • Provides oversight and tracking of all external inquiries including inquiries from prospective adoptive families via telephone and email.
    • Tracks children who need photos taken and providing photographs of children to Texas Family Care Network (TFCN) case managers for use in the State adoption database (TARE).
    • Schedules Heart Gallery photo shoots for children by working closely with volunteer photographers and TFCN case managers.
    • Uses strong storytelling skills to be able to craft profile narratives for individual child profiles and advocate for youth served by the program. 
    • Requires a comfort level and self-awareness to be able to work with board members who serve on committees and in leadership roles on outside committees with various members of the foster care community including judges, lawyers and other high-level profile community and political members. 
    • Oversees recruitment, onboarding, and stewardship of all volunteers to include photographers and Heart Gallery committee.
    • Oversees all logistics related to planning all Heart Gallery events and other activities such as match parties and awareness events. 
    • Manages portrait inventory, orders portraits, and maintains program data of all exhibits and outreach efforts in CRM system.
    • Oversees the setup and removal of exhibit displays across the region.
    • Maintains all program data and reporting in Salesforce and Google Analytics.
    • Works with TFCN Directors to coordinate weekly Forever Families segments on local TV stations, manage scheduling of shoot locations, station personnel, child, and case managers.
    • Works closely with communications team to provide content for program related social media posts. 
    • Maintains content for Heart Gallery and YouTube website pages.
    • Supervises all Heart Gallery program staff.
    • Performs other duties as assigned. 

      Essential Qualifications 

      • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
      • Clearances: State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation.  

      Experience

      1. Requires experience in the areas of business management, marketing, and event planning.
      2. Strong knowledge of and/or work experience in the private child welfare provider network.
      3.  Need basic photography skills and experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe workshop, CRM software such as Salesforce, and willingness to learn new technologies as needed. 

      Working Conditions

      1. Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing. The ability to lift and carry tents/canopies, easels, large canvas photographs, etc. with expected long distances between parking and presentation areas.
      2. Environmental: Indoors/Outdoors; travel across 15 county area of region 5 as required. Must have reliable transportation that can accommodate the tools needed to perform the work.
      3. Working Hours: Normal business hours; flexibility to meet program needs including evenings and weekends. Must be comfortable attending and presenting in various religious settings (likely will be on Sundays).
