Network Operations Manager manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Manager provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Manager leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

    Network Operations is responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational tasks, projects and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network. Network Operations Center (NOC) is the foundation of the Global Network Operations team which provides active monitoring and remediation of incidents, alerts and any infrastructure stability issues. The team is also responsible for automation to quickly identify and resolve issues.

    As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:

    • Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA s etc.
    • Manage operational network maintenance activities and implement changes
    • Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
    • Assist with root cause analysis of incidents
    • Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis
    • Help with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
    • Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
    • Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
    • Complete Daily network checks and operational handover duties
    • Participate in shift rotation coverage
    • Jump on command Center bridge to troubleshoot the network issues.
    • Review service now requests and follow change management cycle to complete the requirement.

    What You'll Need:

    • 4 7 years experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
    • Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
    • Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
    • Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
    • Experience with F5 load balancer, Cisco NX OS, Cisco ISE & Z scaler cloud.
    • Knowledge in cloud computing network domain.
    • Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is desirable
    • Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP and any cloud computing certification.
