Network Operations Manager manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Manager provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Manager leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. and Systems Operations Manager, to lead the operations team. This Position supports critical operations for
450 CONUS and OCONUS Consumers.
You’ll be working in Chantilly Virginia with a team of highly specialized engineers and analysts, supporting
the customers most critical missions. You’ll be managing the Tier 2, Tier 3, and Cyber assessment teams
while working in collaboration with the development team to support upgrades to our Zero Trust and ICAM
solutions. For a large team, we are proud to maintain an intimate culture that focuses on employee growth
and development. Our upskilling program helps individuals advance skillsets in new disciplines and
technologies. You will also occasionally travel to the Springfield Virginia customer site to develop intimacy
and facilitate support.
The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications.
GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative
attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly-available Zero Trust and ICAM capabilities for protecting
those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos
in 2021 and runs until 2031.
