GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Supports administrative duties and provides assistance with setup and prep for conference center functions and events.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists catering supervisor with coordinating, scheduling, and ensuring appropriate set up and service of meetings and food events for customers. (30%)
• Oversees worked performed by Conference Center employees. (10%)
• Responds to the service requests of customers. (20%)
• Creates and records bills and payments from customers. (10%)
• Assists with production, prep and set up as needed for events. (30%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration, hospitality/food service management or related field
• Experience in hotel reservations/event planning
