PURPOSE:
The Export Compliance Specialist is both a key member of the PCC compliance and sales teams, responsible for implementing and supporting a robust trade compliance program and assisting with the overall sales function that supports the day-to-day operation of a high volume, dynamic aerospace/industrial manufacturing site.
This role is responsible for leading the site trade compliance program and providing oversight to all export and import activity. Serving as the site subject matter expert, with support from Division and Corporate compliance teams. Senior management and functional stakeholders will depend on your sound trade compliance advice to mitigate compliance risk, and hands-on collaboration to streamline business requirements.
This role will have additional ownership within the sales function, including management of internal and external customer expectations, communications, and negotiations to best support the Schlosser location. Effectively communicates with engineering, operations, senior leaders, and external customers, providing clear direction, planning, clarification, guidance, decisions, status, and both internal and external issue resolution.
