Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, integrity and security of the LAN/WAN infrastructure with our client. Specializes in systems integration and network technologies. Plans, develops, and implements data communications strategies.
Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/ or acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A professional network certification is desirable. A minimum of five years experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation and maintenance.
Strong analytical and organizational skills combined with a commitment to provide an excellent level of service to our client. Must have in depth knowledge of networking components. Must be able to design and implement LAN / WAN additions and enhancements. Acts as liaison between our client and WAN providers. Must have in depth knowledge of TCP/IP and inter-networking principles. Has system administration privileges on all networking devices (routers, switches, etc) and is responsible for controlling all system administration rights granted to others on these devices. Provides systems support off-hours as needed.
