Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for optimization of branch inventory for powerheads, accessories and spare parts. Ensures there is a good balance met between product availability, minimizing handling costs and reduce scrapping cost.
• Troubleshoots and provides training assistance to department and customers. Creates annual planning projection package and consults branches in setting up the annual budget for sales and purchases.
• Places orders for spare parts and finished goods. Reviews sales to dealer orders and pace of consumption at all STIHL branches. Requests add-on orders or releases, if required, to meet the product availability goals.
• Troubleshoots incomplete orders or forecast deviations in SAP monthly. Responsible for coordinating the correction of missing and/or incorrect purchase plan or purchase order information with Product Planning.
• Seeks out feedback from sales planning team and branch management when necessary.
• Responds to questions regarding inventory availability, sales usage history, backorders and order statuses.
• Coordinates with the VB Spare Parts Dept., and our Sales Planning team, as well as outside vendors.
• Maintain branch sales forecasting parameters on accessories and spare parts. Responds to customer inquiries.
• Monitors forecast accuracy and follows up with the branch on areas of concern.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned, such as reporting.

Specifications internal

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
