     We are looking to hire a Director of Network Development.  You’ll be at the forefront of expanding our managed care network that enables our rapidly growing company to achieve greater outcomes. This individual will be responsible for obtaining new contracts as well as negotiating and improving current ones.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist and troubleshoot contact and payment issues as they relate to network-negotiated contracts
    • Work collaboratively with payers, including on payment resolution and necessary project management to resolve provider payment issues.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance and accreditation standards
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Identify and evaluate potential network providers based on factors such as quality of care, cost-effectiveness and geographic coverage.
    • Negotiate contracts and reimbursement rates with network providers to ensure favorable terms and optimal value for the organization
    • Monitor and analyze network performance metrics such as provider utilization, patient satisfaction and cost efficiency
    • Identify opportunities for network expansion and implement initiatives to enhance network coverage and accessibility
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics that may impact the managed care network
    • Foster relationships with network providers through effective communication and ongoing provider engagement activities.
    • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of network contracts, provider information and network development activities.

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
    • 8 years experience in managed care network development, provider contracting or healthcare provider relations
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, contracting principles, and network development strategies.
    • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using network management software and databases.
    • Team player with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a fast-paced, matrix organization
