VCI is a full service voice, data and video company offering voice services, high speed internet Networks, CCTV, Satellite TV for SMB and enterprise customers nationwide in business for 20 years. VCI installs Mitel Phone systems, VOIP, Wired and Wireless Networks,CCTV, Structured cabling and Audio Visual Systems.

We are currently looking for Operations/Service Managers who is well versed in installing and programming switches, routers, access points, CCTV, infrastructure cabling and PBX's (Mitel) and managing team of field engineers & Project Engineer/Manager

Job Responsibility

• Managing field service engineers, Project Engineers/Managers nationwide including contractors.
• Must have sound knowledge of Installation and Programming of PBXs like Mitel/NEC/ Lucent etc
• Well versed in Network Routers, switches, access points as well as infrastructure cabling
• Sound Knowledge Configuration of IP addresses, VLans on all network devices
• Interact with customers on an ongoing basis related to project implementation and execution of the service tickets
• Ability to remotely diagnose and resolve customer issues related to Add/move/changes on Networks as well as Network related issues with help of engineers.
• Plan installations by studying floor plans, programming guides & technical specifications as well as ability to read diagrams.
• Update job Knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading manuals and certifications

Key Competencies:

• 10 years Telecom and Cabling experience in a customer facing environment
• 4 years Networking experience with a strong foundation in LAN/WAN routing, switching, and TCP/IP, VoIP.
• Cisco CCNA, or comparable technology certifications are a plus; Mitel Certification a plus!
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to assume responsibility and ownership for work performed.
• Ability to provide technical support for co-workers, customers, and other vendors
• Proficiency with MS Windows/Office and/or Active Directory/Share point
