Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information

- Submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance coverage
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in medical billing or related field preferred
