Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and medical office procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, ICD-9) to diagnoses and procedures
- Submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance coverage
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience in medical billing or related field preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Note: Requesting at least 1 year of experience in the field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
