Neurology Director jobs in Oakland, CA

We are a small Neurology based practice in the East Bay, serving the Danville/Walnut Creek/Concord area. We see patient’s with all neurologic conditions, with the most common being headaches, radiculopathy, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, and seizures. We have an emphasis as a Headache Center. We are looking for a part time or full time board certified Nurse Practitioner with Neurology experience to join out team.

Position Requirements:

* Desire to care for patient’s with Neurologic conditions, particularly headache/migraine

* Proficient with neurologic assessment and physical examination. Other responsibilities may include administering acute treatments for pain, Botox injections for chronic migraines, and setting up IV infusion treatments.

* Dependable

* Positive attitude and desire to learn

* Good typing and proficient computer skills. Will need proficiency with electronic medical record (we use Epic)

* Vigilance in monitoring and responding to emails

* Ability to compassionately listen, evaluate, and explain medical conditions

* Team player personality

* Ability to maintain composure and remain calm in challenging situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (full-time)
• No weekends or call

Experience:

• NP: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

• Proper certification for Physician Assistant

• 16-40 hrs

• 8AM

• 4:30pm
