Neurology Director oversees the operations of the neurology unit within a healthcare facility. Implements and develops the neurology services according to the organizational objective and in compliance with cost control methods. Being a Neurology Director directs neurology staff involved in the diagnosis and care of patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Neurology Director typically reports to top management. The Neurology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Neurology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Under the general direction of the Practice Manager/Administrator and/or the Provider, performs a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical setting.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in related specialty area.
    • Recent nursing experience.
