Neurology Director oversees the operations of the neurology unit within a healthcare facility. Implements and develops the neurology services according to the organizational objective and in compliance with cost control methods. Being a Neurology Director directs neurology staff involved in the diagnosis and care of patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Neurology Director typically reports to top management. The Neurology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Neurology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Medical Assistant (MA) full-time day shift 7:00 am - 3:00 pm M-F is now available for outpatient neurology injury clinic. As a member of our team, you will enjoy our facility located in the beautiful Tampa Bay area near HCA Hospital. You also will be working with our highly skilled healthcare providers: two board certified neurologists, a psychologist and a physical therapist.
As a successful candidate, you will also be working with an experienced medical clinic staff including several employees who have been with us for over ten years.
In addition, as an MA at our clinic, you will enjoy a schedule which includes no weekend work!
Skills, experience and education needed:
- Medical Assistant
- Ability to effectively deliver quality patient care
- Ability to accurately and efficiently follow through with doctors' orders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Cooperative, calm and positive demeanor even in stressful situations
- Ability to work with various personalities
- Ability to effectively manage patient schedule
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Punctual, flexible and able to adjust work schedule according to patient/clinic needs
- Ability to manage details of running clinic , ordering supplies, etc.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and honest manner at all times
- Ability to understand, follow, and train others to follow, local, state and federal laws and keep patient and clinic information confidential
