ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process daily Accounts Receivable invoices in XA/Mapics
• Apply daily cash receipts against open receivables in XA/Mapics
• Works with Accounting Supervisor in assessing and resolving payment disputes
• Communicates past due balances with Sales Representatives and Customers as required
• Any other duties as assigned or required, including audit preparation, filing, sorting, etc.

• Ability to switch between multiple software platforms while ensuring consistency and accuracy of data
• Accurate data entry input, proofreading, and solid math computation skills
• Prior experience within multi-company environments or business platforms
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., MAPICS/XA)
• 1-3 years working knowledge of accounts receivable systems and understanding of general accounting principles
• Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to handle customer concerns with tact and diplomacy

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

Required:  HS Diploma/GED or better

Associate degree in accounting with 1-2 years’ work experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing related business;  OR 3-4 years previous  AP/AR related and verifiable work experience in high volume business.
