Customer Service Representative

Thomasville, GA l Temp to Perm l $13.00 - $15.00 / Hour

We are looking for a driven and experienced Customer Service Representative at a health insurance agency to answer incoming calls and assist the customers. You would utilize multiple systems to document, research and communicate necessary information. The ideal employee must have a positive attitude and follow the codes set forth in the Employee Handbook, and be able to learn a complex claim system.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-line telephone system in a timely manner
• Operate computer and scanning equipment
• Send electronic eligibility files to vendors weekly
• Pick up electronic files from vendors daily
• Generate request for funding to clients daily
• Generate weekly Check Registers to clients daily
• Enter new members, changes, terminations in claim system
• Open, date stamp and sort daily mail
• Send out all COBRA paperwork timely
• Index (data entry) mail weekly
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Clean Drug screen
• Insurance background preferred
• English/Spanish Bilingual preferred (oral and written)
• Positive attitude and follow the codes set forth in the Employee Handbook
• Computer proficiency required, especially with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, Outlook and be able to learn a complex claim system
• Able to lift 25lbs

Location: Thomasville, GA

Pay Range: $13.00 - $15.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
