We are seeking a skilled and experienced Taproom Manager and Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all duties related to managing the day to day activities as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully.

· **Duties:**
● Operations Management
· Schedule taproom staff based on company trends/needs and employee availability.
· Schedule and host team meetings to discuss / share company updates, upcoming events, etc.
· Attend and actively participate in management meetings. Provide updates to other managers on taproom operations, as needed.
· Prepare and update menus (digital and print).
· Inquire with guests about their experience and if other products/services are needed.
· Monitor and address guest and employee concerns (online and in-person).
· Serve as a Bartender as appropriate based scheduling needs.
● Supervision of Taproom Staff
· Partner with management on hiring activities. This includes updating job descriptions, posting positions for recruitment, interviewing and selecting candidates, and delivering new employee orientation / training.
· Meet individually with taproom staff to set goals and expectations and evaluate performance following established timeframes. Provide on-going feedback and motivation to taproom employees for continuous improvement efforts.
· Ensure new hires complete all required paperwork, including payroll documents, reviewing the Employee Handbook, and required forms.
· Train new employees and maintain ongoing education related to taproom operations and products.
● Revenue Growth
· Schedule food trucks and other collaborative programs.
· Develop and host company-produced special events and activities that engage our guests and the community, as well as generate additional revenue.
· Develop a rolling three (3) month Strategic Plan for events and activities. This includes developing proposals and an implementation plan. Present recommendations to the other managers for comments, feedback, and approval.
· Collaborate with outside sales team in scheduling events. (Tastings, Tap takeovers, beer dinners, etc.)
· Develop a marketing program and strategy for private events.
· Process reservations for private events, communicate with group leaders, plan for supplies and materials, communicate with other team members regarding staffing, supplies, timing, and setup as needed. Collaborate with other team members if events are occurring in their respective areas.
● Financial Management
· Monitor taproom sales figures and manage costs in collaboration with other managers.
· Manage cash intake, counting, and drawer setup.
· Perform “Bank Runs” to deposit weekly cash totals and exchange bills and coins each week.
● Facility & Inventory Management
· Manage retail inventory to ensure sufficient stock of products and merchandise.
· Purchase taproom supplies as needed
· Provide input to other managers on potential merchandise items based on guest and staff feedback.
· Ensure the cleanliness of the taproom and building, indoors and out.
· Clean draft system, and other taproom equipment based on industry standards and company
procedures.
● Social Media, Website, and Untappd Management
· Facilitate the creation of online content across all social media platforms as needed to promote the brand, its products, and events.
· Assist, monitor, and manage social media posts and interactions.
· Update website content as needed.
· Update Untappd content as needed.
● Additional Duties
· Manage administrative projects as assigned, including proper and proactive communication.
· Identify areas for improvement throughout the company and suggest ways to improve operations.
· Follow all policies and procedures identified in the Employee Handbook and provided in training.
