New Policy Coordinator processes incoming applications for new and renewing policies to include changes/updates according to company guidelines for group health, dental and/or life policies. Responsibilities include reviewing and screening requests, calculating new premiums, issuing new policies and associated documentation. Being a New Policy Coordinator serves assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. Requires an associate degree or its equivalent. Position Goal
This position is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the Materials department driving past due demand to zero. This is done by ensuring coordination in the following key areas: responsible for communication to other plants, monitor and reducing past due demands, review and push daily dispatch list and escalation of shortbuys or shortmakes with major cascades. The Materials coordinator will improve the department and themselves through training and continual learning.
Essential Functions
-Ensure material coordination in the following key areas: responsible for communication to other plants, monitor and reducing past due demands, review and push daily dispatch list and escalation of short buys or short makes with major cascades. Liaison between the Customer and Production Planner to resolve priority changes.
-Coordinate communication in a team environment including materials, manufacturing engineering, production, and QA.
-Follow up of all materials and planning KPI’s and dashboards.
-Responsible for ensuring accurate implementation of Engineering Change Orders to released jobs.
-Assist in the development, communication and deployment of departmental policies, guidelines, and tools to ensure success in all processes.
-Work closely with Planning and Operations to ensure daily priority shipping schedules are met.
-There is a responsibility for solving problems with respect to the following: Uncontrollable items, cross training, maintaining Sub- Inventories, maintain inter - organizational communication while following proper e-mail etiquette.
-Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, work instructions, 5P's and promote continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications
-Secondary education, Certificate/Diploma in Supply chain management.
-At least 2 years of manufacturing/operations experience
-1-3 years’ experience with office and document management
-Knowledge of production planning and control
-MS Office, effective communication, self-motivated, problem-solving skills, organizational skills.
